It all started in 1917, when Milhelm Attea, a young immigrant from Lebanon, with a limited command of English and little business experience, went door to door in Buffalo, New York, selling bread and a few other sundry items to neighborhood families.
Soon thereafter, he was proudly able to bring the rest of his family to America, and with his three brothers, Elias, Joseph and George, began the family business of Milhelm Attea Bros. circa 1917, which is now in its third generation.
